Every journey through life is different. Sometimes we know exactly where we’re headed. Other times grief, life transitions, or difficult experiences leave us feeling uncertain about what comes next.
That’s why I chose the name Your Compass Counselling.
A compass doesn’t choose your destination or tell you which direction you should take. Instead, it helps you find your bearings when the path ahead feels unfamiliar. I believe therapy can offer that same sense of guidance.
My role isn’t to tell you what you should do or who you should become. It’s to create a safe space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and discover the direction that feels right for you.
Healing begins when you feel safe enough to show up as you are. I strive to create a space where you can share openly, knowing you’ll be met with compassion, respect, and without judgment.
I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role isn’t to tell you what to do, but to support you in discovering your own strengths, gaining clarity, and making decisions that feel right for you.
Therapy is a partnership. We’ll work together to understand your experiences, identify your goals, and move at a pace that feels comfortable and meaningful to you.
Trust is built through honesty, authenticity, and professionalism. I’m committed to providing ethical, transparent care so you can feel confident in our work together.
Everyone deserves a space where they feel welcomed, respected, and valued. I celebrate the unique experiences, identities, and backgrounds each person brings, and I’m committed to creating an environment where you can feel seen and supported.
My goal is to empower you to navigate life’s challenges with greater clarity and confidence, creating a meaningful and fulfilling life that reflects your values and sense of purpose.
Through collaborative counselling, I create space for you to reconnect with what matters most, gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences, and explore the direction you want to take moving forward.
Starting counselling can feel intimidating, especially when you’re not sure what to expect. You might have questions about the process, concerns about opening up to someone new, or even uncertainty about whether counselling is right for you.
A free consultation gives you the opportunity to ask questions, share what you’re looking for, and get a sense of what working together might look like, without any pressure or commitment.
Finding the right counsellor is an important part of the process. Take your time, trust what feels right for you, and reach out whenever you’re ready.
